One of the most disturbing things about the COVID era wasn’t simply the fear.
It was how quickly fear was turned against our neighbors.
Watch this compilation and listen carefully—not just to what was being said, but to how often the same messages were repeated.
“No one is safe until everyone is safe.”
Then the message changed.
The unvaccinated weren’t simply people making a different medical decision. They were called dangerous. Selfish. Morons. Lunatics. Enemies. A threat to society.
We were told they should be fired.
Excluded from restaurants.
Kept away from family gatherings.
Denied healthcare.
Restricted from traveling.
Some commentators even compared an unvaccinated person to someone pointing a gun at another human being.
And perhaps most revealing of all, millions of people were discouraged from questioning any of it.
“Don’t do your own research.”
Think about that.
Whatever you believe about COVID, vaccines, or public health policy, there should be something deeply unsettling about a culture that teaches people that questioning authority is dangerous—and that their friends, relatives, coworkers, and neighbors should be treated as enemies for making a different decision.
This is what relentless propaganda can do.
Repeat a message often enough.
Attach fear to it.
Create an enemy.
Make dissent socially unacceptable.
Then convince ordinary people that cruelty is actually compassion.
Families were divided. Friendships ended. People lost jobs. Human beings were denied entry into public places and treated as morally contaminated.
And much of it was applauded.
We should never forget how easily fear was weaponized against our fellow human beings.
Because the next time we’re told who to fear, who to blame, and who we’re allowed to hate, perhaps we’ll recognize the pattern.
Question everything. Especially when everyone on television seems to be saying exactly the same thing.
