For more than twenty-five years, I’ve followed the autism epidemic—not as an outside observer, but as a father.
My son Weston was born healthy. Like so many parents, I trusted the medical system. When everything changed, I began asking questions that few people seemed willing to answer.
That journey led me through thousands of scientific papers, government documents, interviews, public records, and conversations with families around the world. It also led me into the health freedom movement—a community that began with parents simply searching for the truth.
Many remarkable people have dedicated their lives to helping injured families, exposing corruption, and demanding accountability.
But over time, I witnessed something else.
A movement built on truth gradually became a marketplace.

When a Movement Becomes an Industry
Monetizing Misery II explores a difficult but necessary question:
What happens when suffering becomes a business model?
The book examines how portions of today’s health freedom movement have evolved into a professional industry fueled by fundraising, branding, celebrity influence, social media, conferences, nonprofits, political alliances, and financial incentives.
Rather than remaining focused on helping vaccine-injured families and uncovering the causes of autism, too much energy has shifted toward protecting brands, building audiences, selling products, and preserving influence.
The result is uncomfortable—but important—to examine.
Following the Evidence Wherever It Leads
This is not a book written from ideology.
It is built from years of investigative research, documented case studies, public records, interviews, and personal experience.
Inside, I explore:
- How money changed the priorities of parts of the health freedom movement.
- Why accountability often disappeared once organizations became financially successful.
- The growing influence of branding, celebrity culture, and political alliances.
- How fear, outrage, and controversy became valuable commodities.
- Why many families searching for answers still find themselves unheard.
Some readers will agree with my conclusions.
Others won’t.
That’s okay.
The goal has never been popularity.
The goal has always been truth.
This Is My Most Difficult Book Yet
Writing this book was harder than writing Ashes to Armor.
Questioning government agencies and pharmaceutical companies is expected.
Questioning people within your own movement is something entirely different.
But if we truly believe in following evidence wherever it leads, then no individual, organization, or movement should be exempt from scrutiny.
Truth should never depend on whose side we’re on.
Coming Soon
Monetizing Misery II: Exposing the Business of Vaccine Injury, Autism, and the Hijacked Health Freedom Movement will be released soon.
If you’ve followed my work over the years, I believe this is one of the most important books I’ve written.
It isn’t just about vaccines.
It isn’t just about autism.
It’s about what happens when movements lose sight of the people they were created to serve.
I’ll be sharing additional previews, interviews, and release details here on GregWyatt.com as publication approaches.
Stay tuned.
