I want to take a moment to share something I never take lightly.

Ashes to Armor recently reached #1 in the Parenting: Emotions & Feelings category on Amazon. I’m grateful — not because of a ranking, but because it represents people who chose to read, share, and support a story that was not easy to tell.

This moment belongs just as much to those who have walked alongside me for years.

To my longtime readers, friends, and supporters — thank you. Many of you have followed this journey through seasons of silence, struggle, questions, and endurance. You’ve prayed, encouraged, listened, and stayed when the road wasn’t clear or comfortable. This book exists because of that faithfulness.

For those who are newer here, Ashes to Armor is a deeply personal memoir about family, faith, loss, endurance, and the cost of telling the truth. It is not a book written to persuade or convince, but to tell one family’s story honestly — including the parts that are often carried quietly and alone.

The title reflects the journey itself. Some things are lost in the fire. Others are forged by it. What remained was not bitterness or resignation, but resolve — and a faith that had been tested rather than protected.

If you’ve already read the book, shared it, or supported it in any way, please know how deeply that matters. If you’re just discovering it now, you’re welcome here — and I hope the story meets you where you are.

Thank you again to everyone who made this moment possible. I don’t take it for granted.

With gratitude,
Greg
