Looking Back: The 2016 CDC Rally and “Vaxxed”
I had BIG DREAMS back then, and huge aspirations to help save the world and save babies from harm. But things didn't quite go as planned.
The Deception Behind the Health Freedom Movement
Behind the smiles and familiar faces, things aren’t always what they seem.
When you look behind the veneer, a different perspective shines through. Del Bigtree is known an American television and film producer, known primarily for his advocacy against vaccination mandates. He gained prominence as a producer with the popular television show “The Doctors” and the controversial documentary “Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe,” which asserts a link between vaccines and autism.
Andrew Wakefield became one of the most controversial figures in the vaccine debate after his 1998 Lancet paper linked MMR to autism. Stripped of his medical license, he was widely discredited—but his fall only fueled his rise within the “health freedom” movement, where he was recast as a martyr and became a powerful, lasting influence.
Who is Barbara Loe Fisher? This video takes a deeper dive into her and the NVIC (National Vaccine Information Center).
When people think of RFK jr, they think anti-vaccine, healthier food options and freedom of choice. But is that what he's really about?
In early 2018, I began looking more closely at the VAXXED movement after noticing things that didn’t add up. One major claim—that the VAXXED bus had been rescued from Hurricane Katrina flooding—didn’t hold up under scrutiny. Vehicle records showed no such history, raising serious questions. That discovery led to a deeper realization: there were patterns of misinformation and financial interests tied to the movement that were far more extensive than they first appeared.
In this video, I share why I believe there is deception within the health freedom movement, including my concerns about the book How to End the Autism Epidemic, written by J.B. Handley (Del Bigtree’s personal friend). I explain why I came to see its messaging differently and encourage others to take a closer, more critical look at what’s being presented.
